Resin printing is great for detail, but uncured resin is a skin irritant and can cause allergic reactions. The basics:
- Wear nitrile gloves (not latex) and eye protection whenever you handle resin or wet prints.
- Work in a ventilated room. Do not print in a bedroom or kitchen.
- Wash prints in the cleaning liquid your resin calls for (often IPA, or water for water-washable resin), then cure them under UV.
- Cure leftover liquid resin and used wipes in sunlight or under a UV lamp until solid before throwing them away. Do not pour liquid resin down the drain.
- Keep resin away from children, pets and food.
- If resin touches your skin, wipe it off and wash with soap and water straight away.
