These terms apply when you use Grid3D Community at community.grid3d.co.za (“the site”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who runs the site
The site is run by Grid3D, Aggeneys, Northern Cape, South Africa. You can contact us on the Contact page or at jacques@grid3d.co.za.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be 18 years old or older to create an account or use the site. We do not allow anyone under 18. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or remove it and delete the personal information we hold for it.
3. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you post (text, photos, models).
- You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to host, display and share your content on the site and in its promotion, for example featuring a print on our homepage or social media with credit to you.
- You promise you have the right to post it and that it follows our Rules and the law.
- You can delete your own posts. When you do, our licence to that content ends, except for copies in backups for a limited time and uses that were already made (for example a share on social media).
- If your content shows other people, make sure you have their permission to post it.
4. What you may not do
- Break the Rules or the law.
- Attack, scrape, overload or try to break into the site.
- Pretend to be someone else.
5. Moderation
We may edit, move or remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Rules, with or without notice.
6. No guarantees
- To the extent allowed by law, the site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
- Information and advice posted by members is their opinion. 3D printing involves risk. Use your own judgement and follow safety guidance. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for loss, damage or injury from using advice or files found on the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African law that cannot be limited.
- Any deal between members is between them. We are not a party to it.
7. Links and third parties
The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
8. Reporting unlawful or infringing content
If you believe something on the site is unlawful, infringes your copyright or other rights, or is defamatory, email jacques@grid3d.co.za with a link to the content, what is wrong with it, and your contact details. We will review it and remove it where appropriate. We may close the accounts of members who repeatedly post unlawful or infringing content.
9. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time through the Contact page. We may close accounts that break these terms. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
